Environmental Systems and Societies combines knowledge and techniques common to both experimental science and geography. It provides a knowledge base to explore the natural world and our place in it. You will gain a sound scientific understanding of environmental systems that will enable you to engage in world-wide debates and reflect upon the scientific, socioeconomic and ethical issues arising from environmental issues in both local and international contexts.
