This course will continue to focus on basic draughting skills by developing more fully the principals of method and deliberation, focusing chiefly on picture creation and finished artwork. The content will explore in depth a more experimental approach making full use of the skills gained in Part I. Learners will be able to: Develop the skills gained in Part I with drawings in the style of 'contour drawing' (line) and 'gesture drawing' (Gestalt) Produce further drawings defining 'tonal value' Understand Negative Space and composition Understand measurement taking and proportion Understand further studies in One Point and Two point perspective. Previous knowledge of the subject is not required Students who have completed Part I course can develop their studies further. New intermediate students who already have a rudimentary knowledge can also develop the Abilities to the next level There is no formal qualification for this Community Learning course.
