With an emphasis on the how and why, you will explore some of the issues facing the industry and the decisions that travel and tourism organisations have to make both strategically and on a day to day basis to meet customer needs and be successful. Enrichment Activities A range of Enrichment activities are incorporated within the programme. Examples of Enrichment activities conducted are lectures by guest speakers from leading travel experts Visits to various industry leaders, trade events or seminars. You will have an opportunity to participate in internal and external events where you will be able to show case your skills I-Learning Sessions This is additional time embedded in your programme for your study to promote independent learning. This time is used to work through assignments, complete homework activities and conduct wider reading and research. Personal Learning Plan Sessions A course tutor will be allocated to you on the programme. Your course tutor will be working with you to set realistic targets that will enable you to achieve your goals. Your targets will be monitored weekly by your tutor and yourself and actions plans and support put in place to assist you in achieving your targets
