The course consists of Business units which help you gain the knowledge and skills that you will require if you wish to pursue in the Business environment. It will also give you an opportunity to set up your own business stalls as you gain knowledge of business and learn entrepreneurial skills. The course is taught and delivered by experienced business lecturers with extensive experience of teaching and working in the industry. Functional Skills. You will be studying Functional Skills (Maths and English) as part of your course to enable you to progress onto Level-2 qualifications. Work Experience opportunity As part of the programme you will conduct a two week work placement in a Business and Enterprise organisation/field of your choice. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting. Enrichment Activities A range of Enrichment activities are incorporated within the programme. Examples of Enrichment activities conducted are lectures by guest speakers from the industry, sharing their knowledge and experience with you. Visits to various multi-national enterprises in the city of London. You will have an opportunity to participate in Global Entrepreneur week where you will be able to pitch your business idea to business professionals/entrepreneurs. I-Learning Sessions This is additional time embedded in your programme for your study to promote independent learning. This time is used to work through assignments, complete homework activities and conduct wider reading and research. Support Tutorials Group and one to one tutorials are set up on the programme to further assist you with successfully completing the course and provide you with professional guidance and support throughout the course. Personal Learning Plan Sessions A course tutor will be allocated to you on the programme.
