This course investigates the application of science through practical activities from which the theory is then drawn. This provides opportunities for you to develop your practical laboratory skills to a high level. There are laboratory-based practical assignments, supported by self-study, presentations, group work and discussion. You will be externally examined on 2 units during the first year and another 2 units during the second year.
