The effects of climate changes are producing increasingly volatile weather patterns and news of flooding is constantly in the media. In this diverse A-level geography course you will have the opportunity to investigate the consequences of tectonic movement and how the world has been affected by earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis. You will explore possible ways of managing both river and coastal flooding and will develop and practise essential and transferable skills in cartography, ICT and essay writing, based on topical issues such as climate change and the conflicts of tourism.
