A Level Modern Foreign Language: French

We are a department with a history of success at Alevel with many students going on to study languages at University. We will help you prepare for a career in the global economy in the 21st century. You will enjoy it! In lessons we discuss a range of topics which students find interesting and which also give them a better understanding of the world in which we live. You will also develop your fluency in French.

Name: A Level Modern Foreign Language: French Qualification title: A Level Modern Foreign Language: French Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment There are 3 exams at A-level, all taken in the summer of year 13:  Paper 1: a listening, reading and writing test  Paper 2: a written exam based on the film and book studied  Paper 3: an oral exam, including questions based around an independent research project In the listening exam you have individual control of the material and can pause, repeat it etc as you wish.
