ECONOMICS A LEVEL (RPA)

UPDATED 20151109 12:30:38

Students should have a genuine interest in major political and economic issues and enjoy following current affairs. An understanding of statistics and an ability to apply those skills is more important than being a pure mathematician. Economics is at the centre of many issues and problems facing the world today. Using contemporary case studies, students will investigate markets and the national economy at AS level, and at A2 level will study business economics, the distribution of income and the international economy. Assessment will be by written exam at the end of each course.
