Studying English Literature A-level will enable you to develop your interest in, and enjoyment of, literature and literary studies. The course allows you to engage with authors and texts, analysing and interpreting their effects on the reader. With the range of texts available for study, you will be able to find novels, plays and poems that you enjoy reading and which you will be able to explore in great depth. A-level English Literature is very useful for many degrees and careers; particularly ones involving law, writing, teaching, the media and publishing.
