Costume Design

This course provides an insight into fashion and its influence on costume design. Students will study fashion drawing skills, garment construction and design in performance art. This will involve students in designing a variety of costumes for theatre use, alongside developing the skills needed to communicate their ideas. All students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of stage wardrobe management and the making of mask or accessory products, whilst gaining hands-on practical experience in creating costumes for academy productions.
