BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism This qualification equates to 1 A Level. The certificate focuses on a range of study modules related to the broad area of Travel & Tourism. It is a specialist qualification that focuses on aspects of employment within this vocational sector. It is particularly relevant to pupils who have studied Travel & Tourism at level 2; however this is not an entrance requirement. How will I be assessed? You will complete six units of work ranging from Customer Service in Travel & Tourism to investigating Travel & Tourism, The European Travel Market and Current Issues in Travel & Tourism. Assessment is assignment based and continuous. The nature of the course necessitates a wide range of study visits to a variety of Travel & Tourism destinations.
