What will I learn? The purpose of GCSE Media Studies is to allow students to: Develop investigative, critical thinking and decision-making skills through consideration of issues that are important, real and relevant to students and to the world in which they live. The purpose is further to develop appreciation and critical understanding of the media and its role in their daily lives while also to develop their practical and creative skills.
