Theory : A broad based theory course looking at performance at two levels— A) Club participation with topics concerned with developing theoretical knowledge of how the their body functions to play sport—physically (how does the body work?) and mentally (how do we learn the skills?) whilst understanding how sport has developed in society. B) Elite performance covering topics which cross a wide range of issues and topics such as how they develop physiological aspects, biomechanics of performance, sport psychology, use the benefits of modern technology in training and review the role of elite sport in society to enable individuals to win medals.
