Qualifications: AQA Level 3 Advanced Subsidiary GCE in Media Studies. Examining Board: AQA Subject overview The course is suitable for students who have an active interest in Media including: television, film, newspaper, radio, music, advertising and e-media. To study Media you will be expected to have GCSE English at grade C or above. It is not necessary to have studied Media at GCSE. The aims of this course are to provide you with the ability to: • Critically analyse media texts • Develop independent research skills • Build on your own interests, skills and knowledge of media texts.
