During their course of study, students will be encouraged to develop a critical approach to economic models and methods of enquiry. They will also develop a good knowledge of developments on the UK economy and government policies over the past 15 years. This is because economics is a subject in which students will appreciate and learn to understand the world around them and how decisions are made by individual people, businesses, and governments both in the UK and elsewhere.
