This course is designed for those who wish to gain a music qualification to further their career aspirations in the creative industries, or prepare them for further training or higher education. This is a vocational qualification delivered over 2 days, designed to develop theoretical knowledge and apply it into a practical setting to progress into one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK. You will study a range of units including; Creative Arts Research Skills (core), Music in Context (core), Computer Music System, Creative Arts Professionals, Managing a Creative Business, Music Performance Skills, Song writing Techniques and Skills and Studio Recording and Engineering. Each module is assessed through a range of coursework assignments, presentations, practical group and individual work. During the course you will be required to set up and organize a creative business.
