This course is a great next step if you already have a Level 3 qualification and experience in childcare and want to develop your skills further. It has been designed in consultation with childcare employers to give you the valuable skills employers really need and will allow you to work at a higher level in a variety of settings in the sector. The programme has been devised in collaboration with consortium Colleges and the University of Herefordshire to enable students to progress onto the University's BA Honours Degree in Education Studies, upon successful completion of the course. Students can use their BA Honours Degree for application to a PGCE or Graduate Teacher Status providing they fulfil the criteria for these programmes. Our Foundation degree programmes are run in partnership with, and validated by, the University of Hertfordshire.
