Sport and Public Services BTEC Level 1

This course is an introduction to the knowledge required to work in the sport and recreation industry or public services. It gives you the chance to develop a broad understanding of the industries and of the avenues available to you for work or entering further study. The development of good health, fitness and coaching is investigated giving you a firm basis for progression onto the First Diploma in Sport. The public services aspect of the course is designed for students interested in applying to join any uniformed service, such as the Police or Fire Service.
