The Diploma in Digital Applications (DiDA) is a new qualification from Edexcel. It is intended to be a replacement for the GNVQ. DiDA is part of a suite of qualifications:AiDA Award in Digital Applications, CiDA Certificate in Digital Applications, DiDA Diploma in Digital Applications.The purpose of the DiDA qualification is to develop ICT capability, it is not intended to be a technical qualification.What will I learn?The course is modular in design, and students can study a maximum of 4 units. Each unit completed is the equivalent of 1 GCSE. The AiDA is a single unit, CiDA is 2 units and DiDA 4 units. The unit codes are:D101/201 - Using ICTD102/202 - MultimediaD103/203 - GraphicsD101/204 - ICT in Enterprise Using ICT (D101/201) is a compulsory unit and is studied by all students.
