What will I do on this study programme? This practical programme combines a variety of construction trades and develops the skills required for maintenance and repairs on property. Maintenance units cover safe working practices in construction, masonry trade repairs, painting, decorating and associated trade repairs, plastering trade repairs plumbing trade repairs and wood trade repairs. How will I be assessed? We'll assess what you know about the job and your skills in a number of ways, including practical synoptic tests, assignment, a portfolio of work a nd online multiple choice tests. What options do I have after successfully completing? Diploma, Level 2/3 in one of the following bricklaying/carpentry/painting and decorating/plumbing Maintenance Operations, Intermediate Apprenticeship, Level 2 Employment in the construction industry as a maintenance operative.
