This subject will allow you to speak and write about your ideas and opinions on a range of topics in Spanish. In year one, you will learn to speak, listen, write and read a variety of texts. Year two builds on this and explores culture and society in Spanish speaking countries. Study subjects include understanding native speakers and written materials, developing self-expression, taking you to the next level, topics and issues relevant to young people today such as lifestyle, health and fitness, literature and the arts. How will I be assessed? We will assess you with written, oral, listening and reading comprehension exams. What options do I have after completing this A Level? A degree at university in Spanish or with a range of other subjects including business, law, engineering, history Spanish is an asset in careers in many areas, including business, industry, engineering, finance, travel and tourism, teaching, law, and the civil service.
