This industry-recognised qualification is the standard entry route for anyone wanting to work as a freelance fitness instructor or as an employed instructor in a gym, health and fitness club or leisure centre. The course develops your understanding of exercise and fitness and teaches you how to safely instruct clients in the use of resistance and cardiovascular equipment. This qualification offers entry on to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 2 and is a pre-requisite qualification to gain access to Level 3 CYQ qualifications.
