The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Public Services is an exciting opportunity for students who may be considering a career in the uniformed public services: the police, fire service, prison service, or the three armed forces. You will learn about what the work of service and the different skills you will be required to have. Incorporating many different units of work will provide you with a platform of skills and qualities such as teamwork, communication, fitness and problem solving.Your skills will be further developed through out the two year course, giving you an opportunity to improve your leadership skills, along with your ability to work within different teams. You will organize, participate and lead many interesting and adventurous activities such as hill walking, climbing and orienteering, taking responsibility from beginning to end. You will have the opportunity to experience training alongside our emergency services and our armed forces. The course is made up of both theory and practical based units of work. The Subsidiary Diploma is the equivalent to 1 A Level.
