A series of illustrated talks on the changing nature of crime, criminal histories, institutions and how they operated An 'introductory' course not requiring previous study or specific preparatory reading. All that is required is an interest in history and particularly local history. It is aimed at a general audience but will cover some more unusual and less-obvious material, making it appropriate for a slightly more knowledgeable audience.
