The course looks at the social, political, philosophical and religious background of the construction and formation of the four Gospels. It also addresses different interpretations of the Bible, such as Liberalism, Literalism, Conservative and Fundamental approaches. Using areas such as biblical criticism, including source, narrative, form and redaction. A selected range of parables and miracles are studied. Finally a study of similarities and differences via the gospels of the Passion and Resurrection are studied.
