UPDATED 20151103 13:27:53

A Level Psychology. Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour and experience, thinking, emotions and feelings. It attempts to understand what motivates people to behave the way they do. The course will consist of both group and paired work, presentations, student-led classes, independent research and exam focused lessons. We will look specifically at experiments, correlation, observation and self-report methods of investigation and the cognitive, developmental, physiological, psychodynamic and behaviourist approaches in relation to explaining behaviour. We aim to give learners a wide knowledge of psychology and a sound understanding of issues, debates and perspectives.
