An apprenticeship in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools has the exciting opportunity to pursue a rewarding career caring for and supporting the development of children and young people within a school environment. As an apprentice you will assist with lesson planning and day-to-day support of children's learning in line with their individual learning plan. Through a blended programme of work based assessment and taught workshops, you will gain practical knowledge of: Supporting with children and young people at different stages of development Managing disagreements Working in line with in line with Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Child Protection Supporting learning activities. Supporting planning, delivery, assessment and reviews Apprentices will develop an understanding of best practice. This apprenticeship can open doors to a wide range of careers in working with children and young people, and can lead on to further training and progression into a rewarding and fulfilling career. Progression Routes Once you have completed your Apprenticeship, you have a lot of opportunities available to you: Continue working with your employer (if there they have suitable vacancies) Progress you career with a new employer Start a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Supporting Teaching and Learning Move on to further or higher education or training
