An apprenticeship in Childcare has the exciting opportunity to pursue a rewarding career caring for and supporting the development of young children. As an apprentice, you will work in a nursery setting to develop your knowledge and understanding of: Child Development Play and Effective learning Safe environments Our apprenticeship programme also includes a Paediatric First Aid Certificate. Childcare apprenticeships open doors to a wide range of careers in childcare, and can lead on to further training and progression into a rewarding and fulfilling career. Progression Routes Once you’ve completed your Apprenticeship, you have a lot of opportunities available to you: Continue working with your employer (if there they have suitable vacancies) Progress you career with a new employer Start a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Childcare Move on to higher education or training

We will support you to find a great job with a local employer and learn the hands on skills you need to succeed in a career in business administration. You will have a dedicated assessor who will visit you at work and help you to develop your apprenticeship portfolio. You will attend workshop sessions at one of our centres once a week to learn more about essential business processes as well as undertake qualifications in English, Maths or ICT if required.
