You will be given the skills needed to calculate the quantities of materials involved in chemical processes. Practical skills are developed throughout the course and form the basis of coursework. In addition, a study of chemistry will develop numeracy and literacy skills and the variety of teaching methods employed will facilitate the demonstration of the key skills of working with others (in practical or to produce displays), communication (in both written and verbal presentations of your ideas) and application of ICT.
