Course Content:The aim of this course is to enable learners to communicate with deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL) about familiar day-to-day topics and activities.|Level 1 - Module 1: Introduction to BSL|Level 1 - Module 2: Conversational BSL|Level 1 - Module 3: BSL at school, college or workStudents are recommended that they meet up with their peers to practise their signing skills and they visit deaf clubs to meet other deaf people etc. This would improve their signing and confidence. This is a very popular course - places are allocated in order of application.Length:11 weeks per module.Students may opt to take one, two or all three modules. It is necessary to complete all three modules before progression to BSL2Entry Requirements:No formal qualifications are required. Assessment:Assessments at the end of each unit.Additional Expenses:Fees include tuition and examination fees.
