The course comprises 4 compulsory Core Maths modules and 2 optional applied maths modules chosen from either Mechanics, Statistics or Decision Maths. The Core modules further develop the GCSE topics of algebra, functions, graphs and trigonometry, and introduce new topics such as exponentials and calculus. The applied Maths options are flexible, in recent years groups have studied courses following either 2 Statistics Modules, 1 Statistics and 1 Mechanics Module or 1 Module in Decision Maths and 1 Mechanics Module for the applied choices.
