Name: Applied Business GCE (Single award) Qualification title: Applied Business GCE (Single award) Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment The A2 course comprises one examination and two pieces of coursework, which will be marked internally and moderated by the examination board (See details above). Business Development, Unit 8, is a synoptic unit, assessed at the end of the course by means of controlled assessment, involving 15 hours of timed work, prepared for in advance. Managing and Developing People, Unit 9, is assessed by means of a coursework assignment, linked to a business of your choice.
