Level 1 Diploma in Brickwork

The course is designed for learners who wish to gain a hands-on appreciation of Core Craft and associated fields of study surrounding Sustainable Building, Social Issues and Entrepreneurial Skills. You will acquire the introductory knowledge and skills relevant to the construction industry in the above disciplines whilst working in a supportive environment. Students learn through a combination of practice workshops; classroom sessions; individual guided learning and support; and independent study. The emphasis is on the core and associated skill requirements where competency will be assessed to occupational standards and knowledge tested. The tutors provide ongoing feedback. All learners will sit a final test to pass the course either on-line or written dependant on awarding body requirements.
