This programme is for learners who want to gain a formal qualification in hairdressing by learning and developing themselves. This qualification is mainly about practical hairdressing skills and real work activities in a salon environment. This is a day release programme attending college for `demonstration and practice' NVQ knowledge and Maths and English (pending on prior achievements). Training should be supported in the workplace. Assessment will also be carried out in the workplace by a designated assessor.
