English Literature A Level will be examined at the end of the two years. There is also an alternative option to do a stand alone AS level that can be incorporated into the first year of the two year A Level. This is how we will be teaching and assessing at Hampton College. Please remember, that you will still need to take a variation of the Year 12/AS exam again at the end of the two years to fulfill the requirements of the two year A Level course. The course focuses specifically on genre – Aspects of Tragedy (Yr 12/AS) and Elements of Crime (Yr 13). Coursework focuses on theory and independence.
