Vocational Level 2 Health and Social Care Extended Certificate

Students will work towards a Vocational Level 2in Health and Social Care by completing coursework and a final exam. Health and Social Care is divided into 4 units. The first explores the life courses people go through as they develop and the effects this has on a person's life. The next explains the values taken by those that work in the care industry and have a duty of care to those whom they are responsible for. The third looks at communication and the barriers effecting their ability to communicate and how these can be over come. The last unit looks at the rights of those in care and the legal requirements that enable to care community to work.
