Name: Work-Based Electro-technology Installations NVQ Diploma Qualification title: NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment) Qualification type: Assessment You will be assessed in the following ways: - On-line knowledge assessments- - Written & research projects/assignments- - On site external assessments/tests- - On site professional discussions- - Performance units for the practical activities are assessed in the workplace or as appropriate in simulated conditions. All Performance Units will be assessed and evidence referenced in a diary log. You will gather evidence to prove that you can meet the required standards set by the industry- and does include a three/four day external assessment - Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2) at the end of the qualification to test competence. Throughout your course you will continue to develop your English and Maths skills in your vocational classes. If you haven't achieved an A*-C grade in English or Maths at GCSE- or a Level 2 Functional Skill- you will also be working towards a qualification in English or Maths at a level that will enable you to progress towards these grades.
