These will cover simple calculations, fractions, measurement and how to use tables and charts. As you develop these skills, you will become more confident in recognising how maths can be applied to day to day situations. You will demonstrate your skills for certification through classroom based assessment. At Levels 1 and 2 skills learnt include being able to recognise how everyday situations can be represented using maths. You will develop mathematical tools and operations; be able to apply these procedures appropriately to a situation or problem; be able to interpret results and consider the accuracy and conclusions to be drawn from this information.
