Information about the course to include units covered: The business environment (10 credits) Business resources (10 credits) Introduction to marketing (10 credits) Business communication (10 credits) Creative product promotion (10 credits) Fashion retailing (10 credits) Each unit is composed of several assignments which cover the assessment criteria of each unit. Students work with the teacher and independently to complete the work. Students studying this course need to be well organised, good at working to deadlines and be interested in a career in business or as a stepping stone onto a course at university. Many of our students go on to work in local businesses. A high proportion of business students go on to study a business related degree at University. Students also have the option of completing more units to gain a further A Level.
