Liverpool is the home of the first council housing in the world and a hot bed of housing policy controversy. This course will help participants to understand the political history of housing in the city of Liverpool as well as in their own neighbourhoods. Learning will be facilitated through a short readings, short films and small group discussions. These will help participants to piece together an understanding of the political history of Liverpool's housing in the context of their own stories about housing in the city. A key emphasis will be on story-telling and listening to each other.
