From Milton to Leveson; The Fight for the Freedom of the Press

This course examines the development of press freedom and its constraints, from Magna Carta (1215) and Milton's Areopagitica (1644) to modern notions of free expression as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and the European Convention on Human Rights (1950).
