Building Confidence through Walking (Cities)

The planning and mapping of 3 walks which are then undertaken and led by the learners. The course will span over 3 sessions, commencing with an introduction to map reading and planning a route, with a short walk on the first session. Further sessions will be split into planning and then walking the route. The course will start from pick up points in Banwell, Weston-super-Mare, Worle, Congresbury, Yatton and Clevedon where the planning takes place. The group will then be taken to the start of the walk and the walks will be circular from there. The group will have the opportunity to use footpaths, pavements and byways in local cities.
