We will confront this argument, reading biographies such as 1599 by James Shapiro beside Julius Caesar. We will also study Hard Times together with Charles Dickens by Claire Tomalin, while Lewis Carroll by Edward Wakelin will lead us Through the Looking Glass to fantasy.
