This course is designed and aimed at students whose aspirations and career path is within the Sport Industry. You will further develop your practical skills such as planning and carrying out fitness programmes, taking part in outdoor and adventurous activities. To compliment your practical skills you will also learn the theory aspects, including how the body works and how exercise affects certain parts of the body, psychology for sports performance, sports nutrition, injuries in sport etc. The course is a 60 credit qualification covering 360 guided learning hours. To complete the course you are required to complete 1 mandatory unit (5 credits) plus a 10 credit mandatory specialist unit.
