UPDATED 20151027 12:56:31

Our Health and Social Care qualifications are designed to be extremely flexible and meet the requirements of those working across a wide-range of care sector roles. This could include working in care homes or out in the community supporting individuals and assisting them with their physical or emotional care, daily living needs or maintaining their independence. The aim of the level 3 qualification is to recognise the skills and capabilities of candidates in the workplace. The qualification is about the delivery of physical, emotional or enabling care to clients. The learner will usually be delivering care in support of, and under the direction of, a colleague who is accountable in the area of practice. Learners may often be working without direct supervision. This qualification can be taken as an Apprenticeship or NVQ only. An Apprenticeship will cover additional elements such as functional skills and a technical certificate in Health and Social Care.
