Our level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools adds more responsibility to the role. People undertaking this qualification will typically help plan, carry out and evaluate a wide range of learning activities and will work both alongside the teacher to support classroom activities and alone with individuals or groups of students. This qualification is an ideal stepping-stone to a foundation degree or Higher Level Teaching Assistant training. This qualification can be taken as an Apprenticeship or NVQ only. An Apprenticeship will cover additional elements such as functional skills and employment rights and responsibilities.
