Who is the course for? This course is designed for anyone who has a genuine interest and enthusiasm in becoming a nail technician or to add to any Hair and Beauty qualifications. What can it lead to? Successful candidates will be able to compete in competition work, work in a nail salon, work in the Hair and Beauty industry, or go on to learn more nail art and gel designs. What will I study? Health and Safety, salon reception duties, effectiveness at work, promotion of additional services and products, provide manicure and pedicure treatments, how to perform nail art, apply and maintain nail enhancements using gels and / or acrylic and how to create airbrush designs for nails. To improve your employability skills you will study Maths and English functional skills as part of your course.
