Are you passionate about your vocation and passing your skills and expertise on to others- and thinking about a career in post compulsory education or training? Then this course is right for you! The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles- responsibilities and relationships in education and training- how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching and training sessions and how to assess and give constructive and developmental feedback. Candidates who successfully complete this qualification will have a fundamental understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer in relation to legislation- equality- diversity- inclusivity and meeting the needs of learners. They will be able to sequence learning- plan and deliver sessions- using appropriate resources and teaching methods. They will also be able to identify the characteristics of effective assessment and feedback. This is a part-time course studied over 18 weeks- 3 hours per week. We have a 98% success rate on this course and excellent feedback from our past students. Many of our learners go into a teaching or training role following this course and some progress to the Cert Ed/PGCE9h) and gain lecturing positions within the lifelong learning sector.
