AAT Accounting Level 3

If you're already working in accountancy and want to move up the career ladder the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting will help you develop the skills you need to succeed. AAT accountancy courses give you the practical- internationally-recognised finance and accountancy skills that employers want and can open doors for you in the industry and will give you membership to a highly respected international professional body of accountants which has over 120-000 members worldwide. The Level 3 course will build on your basic bookkeeping and accounting skills and enable you to master more complex financial processes- including final accounts for sole traders and partnerships- reports and VAT returns- and professional ethics. You will learn how to use spreadsheets in an accounting environment and gain knowledge and understanding of costing systems and aspects of budgeting that will help aid short and long term decision making. You will also gain an understanding of the code of professional ethics that members of the Association of Accounting Technicians are required to adopt. Completion of the course will enable you to pursue a career as an accounts administrator or assistant- bookkeeper- purchase or sales ledger clerk- trainee tax assistant or trainee accounts technician- or progress to the AAT Level 4 qualification. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO QUALIFY? There are few options to choose from: you can study this course 2 days per week for 5 months- 1 day per week for 9 months or 1 evening per week for 11 months.
