UPDATED 20151022 10:19:09

Politics is about power and ideas and it determines the public life of society. The study of Politics at A Level gives the students the opportunity to inform themselves of contemporary political events, issues and changes in the political system. In the course of their studies students will use online resources including newspapers, news journals, news and current affairs programmes and relevant text books. They will become familiar with political concepts, their application and the historical context in which decisions are made, through studying selected aspects of the government and politics of the UK and the USA.
